Boxer Fights for Transportation Jobs
Senator Boxer, who chairs the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, said the decision by House Republicans to force a 90-day stopgap extension of transportation programs will lead to thousands of job losses across the country.
Boxer called on the House to pass the bipartisan Senate transportation bill, which would create or save nearly 3 million jobs. “I will continue to push back to save jobs and stop the Highway Trust Fund from going bankrupt,” she said.
