Boxer Lauds $111 Million in Transit Funds for California
Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) today lauded U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood’s announcement that more than $111 million in transit funds from the economic recovery package is headed to California.
Senator Boxer: Restoring Lake Tahoe
The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, which I chair, recently approved the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act of 2011 (S.432). I am proud to be an original co-sponsor of this important bill to help restore Lake Tahoe and improve forest management in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
