Boxer, Feinstein Express Support for Stationing Light Mobility Aircraft at Travis Air Force Base
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein (both D-CA) sent a letter this week to Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment and Logistics Terry Yonkers encouraging the Air Force to station the new Light Mobility Aircraft (LiMA) at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California.
Senator Boxer: Improving Pipeline Safety
Yesterday I called on the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to conduct more frequent audits of pipeline operators after a recent audit of Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) revealed disturbing violations of pipeline safety regulations and the questionable use of millions in ratepayer funds.
