Senator Boxer Visits Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas

Senator Boxer visited the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas. The Center is a nationally recognized for the diagnosis, treatment and management of rehabilitation for neurologically related conditions.

Senator Boxer meets with John Miksa, a Carlsbad author and avid cyclist who was paralyzed from the neck down in a 2009 cycling accident. Miksa recovered thanks in part to the emergency care he received at Scripps Memorial Hospital.
