Senator Boxer: Protecting Peace Corps Volunteers

Last night, the House of Representatives passed a bipartisan bill that I introduced with Senator Isakson (R-GA) to provide better protection measures for our Peace Corps volunteers serving overseas.  

The Kate Puzey Peace Corps Volunteer Protection Act of 2011 (S.1280) passed the Senate unanimously in September and now goes to President Obama for his signature.  To read more about this legislation, please click here.
