The Secretary of Education has announced two new federal grants. The new grants will be available for the first time for the 2006-07 school year for first year students who graduated from high school after January 1, 2006 and for second year students who graduated from high school after January 1, 2005. The U.S. Department of Education's Federal Student Aid (FSA) programs are the largest source of student aid in America.
